Obtaining Software Updates

In many cases, your MessageNet system may be able to be upgraded via simple Internet download. Contact us at support@messagenetsystems.com to find out more about extending the functionality of your particular solution.

Obsolete Features and Hardware

The following features and hardware can no longer be supported:

  • analog PRI and telephony cards – a SIP trunk or VoIP gateway is required for phone communication with the MessageNet server
  • H180F fire panel controller devices
  • H181F fire panel controller devices
  • telephone modems
  • H108/H170 RS232 controllers
  • PC Alert has limited support – due to operating system changes by Apple and Microsoft, PC Alert can no longer be counted on to pop up because the OS can suppress it and therefore cannot be used for emergency communication.
  • In-Application Support

    You may reference the in-application support system, simply by clicking the “Help” tab from any screen that you are viewing and a support window with the appropriate information will pop up.
